About us
CECO-Uganda knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2008, our NGO realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we decided to launch CECO-Uganda.
Our Mission

To enhance the capacity of Ugandans to sustainably, effectively and consciously use their natural resources for their own sustainable Development.
In the long term, CECO-Uganda aims to achieve the following objectives;
To promote, conserve and protect Uganda’s environment
To promote biodiversity Conservation and sustainable use of the environmental resources.
To establish and promote sustainable development projects such as renewable energy technology, agroforestry, tourism facilities, organic farming, waste management activities and sustainable agriculture.
Support people living with HIV/AIDS and affected facilities through ensuring a clean environment, sustainable agriculture production and income generation activities.
To cooperate and network with other organisations through; training, research and information sharing.
To establish a Development Service Centre, and deal in activities incidental thereto for the purposes of poverty eradication in Uganda.

Vision
Our vision is to have a society that is enlightened and pro-actively responding to conserve, preserve and sustainably use natural resources for their own cultural, social and economic development.
